Empresas avícolas ganharão novas normas

As regras de certificação sanitária dos estabelecimentos avícolas comerciais para salmoneloses (Salmonella Gallinarum, Salmonella Pullorum, Salmonella Enteritidis e Salmonella Typhimurium) e micoplasmoses aviárias (Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma  synoviae e Mycoplasma melleagridis) serão atualizadas. O projeto de Instrução Normativa que aprova a norma técnica com as mudanças no processo entrou em consulta pública nesta sexta-feira (18), pelo prazo de 60 dias.

O texto atualiza as Instruções Normativas 44, de 2001, e 78, de 2003. “Os procedimentos da certificação sanitária de granjas e núcleos avícolas comerciais e de reprodução para os dois agentes é muito semelhante, por isso fizemos a reedição das normas em uma só”, explica a coordenadora de Sanidade Avícola do Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento, Regina D’Arce.

As micoplasmoses e salmoneloses são agentes de doença que provocam enfermidades em aves, sendo que as salmonelas podem causar infecções também em humanos e representam desafios constantes para a avicultura mundial. Daí a importância da certificação de estabelecimentos avícolas quanto à ausência dessas substâncias, o que contribui para a qualidade dos produtos alimentícios elaborados. “As empresas devem garantir que aves e ração que entram na propriedade sejam isentos desses microrganismos, bem como melhorar os procedimentos de biossegurança das granjas”, observa D’Arce.

A coordenadora ressalta, ainda, que a proposta da nova legislação foi levantada por técnicos do Serviço Veterinário Oficial que trabalham em campo, com solicitações do setor produtivo. “Foram incluídas outras técnicas de diagnóstico, hoje disponíveis, e atualizamos os procedimentos necessários para a avaliação dos estabelecimentos, incluindo também granjas de aves de corte e de postura”, explica.

O Mapa espera receber sugestões que auxiliem o entendimento e aplicação da legislação. Doenças – Para as aves, as salmoneloses podem causar desde quadros de inflamação intestinal até mortalidade das aves, dependendo do sorotipo acometido (por exemplo: Enteritidis, Pullorum). Alguns tipos podem atacar o homem, causando toxi-infecções alimentares. Por outro lado, as micoplasmoses aviárias não são zoonoses, mas causam enfermidades respiratórias, articulares, e aumentam suscetibilidade das aves a outras doenças.
