Passageiros devem ficar atentos aos produtos transportados

Com a chegada do período de férias escolares e o aumento do fluxo de viagens internacionais, as autoridades brasileiras reforçam a orientação sobre os produtos agropecuários que podem ser transportados nos deslocamentos entre países. Itens de origem animal e vegetal como alimentos, plantas, sementes, animais vivos ou peles e tabaco não podem ser levados do Brasil e nem trazidos de fora sem certificação fitozoosanitária oficial do Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento ou dos órgãos equivalentes de outros países. A regra também vale para vegetais in natura, que necessitam de atestado fitossanitário para circular. Apenas derivados de natureza vegetal com um grau de processamento maior estão liberados para viagens internacionais.

A medida é necessária para proteger a agropecuária nacional da entrada de pragas e doenças e evitar a entrada de mercadorias que possam colocar em risco a saúde humana. O Sistema de Vigilância Agropecuária (Vigiagro), do Ministério da Agricultura, é responsável pela fiscalização no Brasil e adota uma série de medidas com o objetivo de orientar os passageiros e aumentar o controle das bagagens que chegam do exterior.

No Brasil, o Vigiagro mantém 110 pontos de fiscalização em locais de trânsito internacional de produtos ou insumos agropecuários. São 31 em portos, 26 em aeroportos internacionais, 27 em aduanas especiais e 26 postos de fronteira monitorados por fiscais federais agropecuários, que inspecionam a sanidade dos itens que entram e saem do país.

Os campeões de apreensões por falta de documentação são os lácteos (queijos e doce de leite), embutidos (salame e linguiça), pescados (bacalhau, lula, salmão e camarão), sementes, frutas e plantas. Segundo a fiscal federal agropecuária da Coordenação Geral do Vigiagro Mirela Eidt somente no ano passado foram apreendidas 55,6 toneladas de produtos irregulares nos três aeroportos mais movimentados no país – 20% a mais do que em 2009.

Os alimentos recolhidos pelo Vigiagro, por não possuírem certificação sanitária de origem e nem autorização, são considerados inaptos ao consumo humano e destruídos.

Ações educativas

Além de aumentar o monitoramento dos voos internacionais, o Ministério da Agricultura busca informar os usuários sobre o que é permitido ou não trazer em sua bagagem. Para isso, são distribuídos folhetos com orientações sobre os itens que têm restrição de importação ou dependem de certificado do país de origem para ingressar no Brasil.
Outras iniciativas que vêm sendo desenvolvidas são a veiculação de mensagens sonoras nos aeroportos reforçando os cuidados necessários no transporte; banners com a lista de itens que o viajante deve evitar na sua bagagem; e a divulgação permanente de informações no site do órgão.

A lista de produtos considerados processados e, portanto, liberados para o trânsito internacional contempla óleos, alcoóis, frutos em calda, chocolate, café torrado e moído, sucos, vegetais em conserva, arroz, farinha e erva-mate industrializada, entre outros. Os vinhos podem circular livremente, mas o viajante deve observar o limite estabelecido pela Receita Federal, que permite 12 garrafas de uma mesma marca ou até 18 de fabricantes diferentes.

– Espécies exóticas, peixes e pássaros ornamentais e abelhas;
– Carne de qualquer espécie anima l, in natura ou industrializada (embutidos, presunto, salgados, enlatados);
– Leite e produtos lácteos;
– Produtos Apícolas (mel, cera, própolis);
– Ovos e derivados;
– Sêmen, embriões, produtos biológicos, veterinários (soro, vacinas);
– Alimentos para animais;
– Terras;
– Madeiras não tratadas;
– Agrotóxicos;
– Material biológico para pesquisa científica, entre outros.
