No último sábado, 05 de junho de 2010, na sede de praia da STAC – Associação Profissional dos Técnicos de Agrícolas do Cacau – num dos mais calorosos e emocionantes encontros de Técnicos Agrícolas realizado na STAC foi feita uma justa e grande homenagem ao colega, Técnico em Fiscalização Federal Agropecuária, Isralso Santos Silva. Servidor da CEPLAC formado em Técnico em Agropecuária pela EMARC exerceu a maior parte de suas atividades na extensão rural; hoje ocupa o cargo de Agente de Atividade Agropecuária e foi homenageado pela sua trajetória como servidor da CEPLAC, pela participação nas lutas de classe e também como pai e chefe de família exemplar.
O encontro que teve um caráter festivo, como de costume, se constituiu num espaço democrático para, debate, reflexão e também serviu como prestação de contas e demonstração da realizações da gestão 2009/2010 da STAC que deverá ser encerrada no próximo mês de agosto de 2010. Aproveitou-se o momento e elegeu-se as colegas Selenê Badaró e Angélica Mendonça par realização simbolizando a fertilização e prosperidade do plantio de duas mudas de Pau-Brasil .
O Técnico em Fiscalização Federal Agropecuária, Wellington Duarte da Costa fez uma rápida abordagem sobre a conjuntura atual da região e sua relação com o meio ambiente; em sua fala fez um resgate do importante papel dos técnicos agrícolas nas lutas de classes na CEPLAC e na região cacaueira.
O Deputado Federal Geraldo Simões (PT/BA) como de costume prestigiou o evento. Geraldo na atual legislatura tem desempenhado um relevante papel nos corredores do Congresso Nacional em defesa dos interesses da categoria dos Técnicos de Fiscalização Federal Agropecuária, espeialmente no apoio ao trâmite do PL 5 920/2009 que reestrutura a carreira dos TFFA(s). Aproveitou o evento e circulou com grande desenvoltura pela STAC revendo antigos colegas e amigos.
Um dos momentos mais importantes e emocionantes do evento foi quando da entrega de um quadro ao homenageado e no descerramento, por Isralso, da placa de inauguração da reforma da Escolinha da STAC que recebeu o nome de Escola Municipal Isralso Santos Silva.
Estiveram presentes: O Presidente da STAC, Jairo Silveira Couto, Presidente da ATEFFA-BA, Afrânio Freitas, Presidente da AFC/Ilhéus, José Bezerra (Bezerrão), Presidente do SINTSEF-BA, Antônio Menezes, Professora Maria Regina representando a Secretaria de Educação do Município de Ilhéus e o Coordenador Geral de Gestão Estratégica da CEPLAC Elieser Correia.
