Definidas normas para credenciar laboratórios

As normas complementares para o credenciamento de laboratórios para a realização de análises na área de controle de medicamentos veterinários e produtos utilizados na alimentação animal estão em consulta pública, pelo prazo de 30 dias. “A rede credenciada deverá atender às demandas dos programas do Ministério da Agricultura e realizar análises de rotina relacionadas à fiscalização ou inspeção desses produtos“, explica Jorge Caetano, coordenador-geral de Apoio Laboratorial do Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento (Mapa). A medida foi publicada no Diário Oficial da União (DOU), nessa segunda-feira, 10 de janeiro, na Portaria N° 577.

Os estabelecimentos interessados em integrar a Rede Nacional de Laboratórios Agropecuários deverão estar acreditados junto à ISO 17.025 (norma internacional específica para o sistema de gestão da qualidade em laboratórios) ou Boas Práticas de Laboratório (BPL), de acordo com as análises realizadas. Os trabalhos poderão ser iniciados após a concessão do credenciamento e respectiva publicação no site do Ministério da Agricultura.

Essa medida tem o objetivo de aprovar, também, o Guia de Validação de Procedimentos Analíticos e Controle de Qualidade para Medicamentos Veterinários, Farmoquímicos, Fármacos e outras Substâncias e Produtos para Alimentação Animal. “Esse documento visa a aprimorar a rastreabilidade e a confiança nos resultados analíticos obtidos”, informa Caetano. Após a consulta pública, o guia ficará, em seu formato final, disponível no endereço eletrônico: www.agricultura.gov.br.

Hoje, o Ministério da Agricultura conta com uma Rede composta por seis Laboratórios Nacionais Agropecuários (Lanagros) em Goiás, Minas Gerais, Pará, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Sul e São Paulo, além de 604 credenciados.

As sugestões, tecnicamente fundamentadas, deverão ser encaminhadas para o Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento, Esplanada dos Ministérios, Bloco D, Coordenação-Geral de Apoio Laboratorial, sala 440, Anexo A, CEP: 70.043-900, Brasília (DF). Os que preferirem poderão enviar e-mail para angelo.mauricio@agricultura.gov.br ou fax: (61) 3218-3094.
