Anvisa interdita 190 mil litros de agrotóxicos irregulares

Fiscalização realizada pela Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (Anvisa), na semana passada, nas fábricas das empresas Sipcam Isagro Brasil S.A e FMC Química do Brasil, em Uberaba (MG), interditou 190 mil litros de agrotóxicos irregulares. A ação, que contou com apoio da Vigilância Sanitária de Minas Gerais e da Polícia Federal, encontrou problemas que vão desde adulteração nos prazos de validade à falta do controle de qualidade dos produtos.

Na empresa italiana Sipcam Isagro Brasil S.A, o total de agrotóxicos apreendidos ultrapassou 50 mil litros. Estoques de produtos acabados, matérias primas e produtos em fase de processo (aqueles que estavam armazenados com a formulação iniciada, mas não concluída) estavam etiquetados com o prazo de validade para 31 de dezembro de 9999, o que evidenciou um indicativo de prazo indeterminado.

Outra irregularidade verificada na fábrica da referida empresa foi a produção de agrotóxicos com materiais decorrentes de devoluções ou de excedentes de outras campanhas, sem controle de qualidade. Os agrotóxicos Partner (utilizado na cultura de citrusi) e Metrimex 500 SC (herbicida usado na cana-de-açúcar), fabricados nos anos de 2009 e 2010, possuíam componentes em desacordo com os informes de avaliação toxicológica aprovados pela Anvisa.

Já na fábrica da empresa norte – americana FMC Química do Brasil, foram encontradas 73,7 toneladas de matéria prima do produto Difuran Técnico e 38,9 toneladas do agrotóxico Difuran 50g com datas de validade vencidas no ano de 2009. Esse produto é autorizado para uso nas culturas de algodão, amendoim, banana, batata, café, cana de açúcar, cenoura, feijão, fumo, milho, repolho, tomate e trigo.

Nesse caso, os fiscais da Anvisa constataram que a empresa raspava e rasgava as etiquetas de data de fabricação e de prazo de validade do Difuran Técnico, na tentativa de omitir informações de que o produto estava com prazo de validade vencido. A FMC Química do Brasil foi autuada por essa prática.

Foram interditados, ainda, 4,3 toneladas da matéria prima Ametrina Técnica e 21 mil litros do agrotóxico Sinerge EC (utilizado no cultivo da cana de açúcar, mandioca e algodão). O fabricante da Ametrina Técnica não era autorizado pela Anvisa e não constava no certificado de registro do produto Sinerge EC.

As duas empresas foram notificadas a prestarem esclarecimentos sobre questões relativas ao processo produtivo, composição de formulações, controle da qualidade e de estoque. Os produtos interditados não poderão ser comercializados por 90 dias, prazo em que as empresas poderão apresentar contraprovas para questionar as irregularidades encontradas.

As empresas que cometeram as infrações podem ser penalizadas com a aplicação de multas de até R$1,5 milhão e com o cancelamento dos informes de avaliação toxicológica dos agrotóxicos em que foram identificadas as irregularidades. Em caso de possibilidade de outras sanções, além das administrativas, a Anvisa encaminha representação à Polícia Federal e ao Ministério Público Federal para possível investigação criminal.
